2. Using this website

You may browse this site and use its content for your own personal or internal business reference. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute any part of this site (including our text, dashboards, graphics, or methodology descriptions) for commercial purposes without our written permission.

We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but information on it (including service descriptions and any illustrative figures) is provided for general guidance only and shouldn’t be relied on as a substitute for a specific proposal or professional advice.

We may update, suspend, or withdraw any part of this website at any time without notice.

3. Links to other websites

This site may link to third-party websites (for example, NHSBSA or other data sources). We’re not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any external site, and a link doesn’t imply our endorsement of it.

4. Engaging us for services

Where you engage Visual Numbers Limited to provide consultancy, data, dashboard, or reporting services, the following terms apply in addition to any specific proposal, quote, or statement of work (“SOW“) we agree with you. If there’s a conflict between an agreed SOW and these Terms, the SOW takes priority.

Scope. Services are as described in the relevant proposal or SOW. Any changes to scope will be agreed in writing (email is fine) and may affect price and timeline.

Fees and payment. Fees are as set out in our quote or rate card. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Client-supplied data. Where you provide us with data to work on, you confirm you have the right to share it with us and that we can use it for the purposes of the engagement. You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of any data you supply.

5. Confidentiality

Each party will keep the other’s confidential business information private, and only use it for the purposes of the engagement, except where disclosure is required by law or already agreed in writing (for example, a case study you’ve approved us to reference).

6. Intellectual property

We retain ownership of our underlying methodology, tools, templates, code, and know-how used to deliver services (including anything built on our own BigQuery/DataStudio infrastructure). Unless otherwise agreed in an SOW, on full payment of all fees due, you receive a licence to use the specific deliverables (reports, dashboards, and analysis) produced for you for your internal business purposes for the duration of the project. Ownership of the underlying platform, pipeline, and methodology stays with Visual Numbers Limited unless we’ve expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

7. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can’t legally be limited or excluded.

Subject to that, our total liability to you arising from any engagement is limited to the total fees paid to us for the relevant engagement in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we won’t be liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profit or business opportunity).

8. Termination

Either party may end an engagement in line with the notice period set out in the relevant SOW, or, where none is specified, on 30 days’ written notice. You’ll pay for work carried out up to the date of termination.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your use of the site or the start of your engagement
